How could i get in the modeling business?

i live in the central valley of california and i get told often that i am very pretty. i know im pretty but im not vain and i dont brag about it. i have a good body to. i have a very bubbly personality and i think i would make a very good model but the problem is the closest abecrombie or holister store is 1 and a half hrs away! but i reallly think i would make a very good model!! please help and give me tips on how to become a model what i have to do and also the requirements! please help! thank you it really means alot!!!
