Buying a guitar Acoustic Vs. electric?

Get an acoustic. The guy who said that electric players are great at acoustic is completely wrong. Electric is much easier, so if you learn on an acoustic, then you'll have much stronger fingers to play an electric, and you'll have your basic chords down already. And he's right, girls love acoustic guitars. ;)
