Girls mom doesn't like me?

And because of that reason, she girl has basically blown me off. I dated her once 8 months ago. She claims the reason she doesn't like me is because I hurt her daughter. I can understand that. I get it, parents take it personally when you hurt their children. This was 8 months ago though, and I only met the women TWO TIMES! I mean, she barely even knows me. I know this has a lot to do with it, but I don't think that is all. All the dudes in my family are small dudes. Not like, we orr anything, we're just not those big tough looking dudes. We don't look nerdy or anything, were just small, like, short and skinny. Because of this, I think that her mom kinda feels like, I can't stick up for her daughter in a way maybe? Also, the girl has told me before that her mom likes her to date dudes that are taller than her. Me and her are the same hieght. I know I only met the mom 2 times, but I just have a feeling that shes not telling the whole truth, what do you guys think? Me and the girl aren't really talking at the moment just for other issues. We just got done talking about getting back together, but then her mom blew me down, so after that, she hasn't really been the same. So Im trying to give her space. But when I do start talking to her again, should I bring the issue up, and do you think I'm right?
