I need some tips on making friends.Can someone pls HLP ME!!!!!!!?

Well I got 1 for you. I just graduated from 5th grade today!!!!!!!! But the IMPORTANT THING IS about you. You see I moved in to a new school in the middle of 4th grade. I was a nerd i hung around with a kid i knew from my old school but he was hell of a nerd my friend! I was unpopular and the more popular kids bullied me. In the 5th grade me and a more "cooler and popular" kid were playing a game together. The next day we were talking about the game and he told me i kicked *** in the game. The next week we sat in the same group and well we talked and became friends! after that I had loads of friends! JUST FIND SOMETHING IN COMMON AND DO SOMETHING THAT WILL BRING ATTENTION TO YOU! BECOME STUDENT COUNCIL PRESIDENT. SING A SONG IN A TALENT SHOW. JOIN A SCHOOL TEAM. FIND THAT LONELY KID IN THE CORNER AND TALK TO HIM!
